about

A powerful tune from start to finish with heartfelt lyrics and strong drive. It’s about dark times, apologies, mistakes and rising above it all to become a better person.
Inspiration for this song comes from a night out when lead singer, Jeremy Allen, was struck with the overwhelming feeling of failure and a lack of life direction that overcomes many in their early 20s.
After self-reflection, things started to turn around as he began taking a new lease on life and ‘Trainwreck’ was born.
The musical chemistry of this trio will encapsulate listeners as they sing along to this anthem on repeat.

lyrics

Saw myself somewhere else
Looking through a cold dark mirror
Reflecting on these things I’ve done
And what I’ve become

It was a cold night in June
No party, all gloom here in my heart
Said some things that I regret
But my head it was a mess, it was blue and lifeless
Should I stay or should I leave this

I’m sorry that I am such a train wreck
A basket case that you put up with
Without you I know now that I need help
That night was something you didn’t have to deal with

I cried the whole way home
Wondering if I’ll ever be the person that we both need me to be
Cos my existence gives you misery

I’m sorry that I am such a train wreck
A basket case that you put up with
Without you I know now that I need help
That night was something you didn’t have to deal with

Please know that things are looking up from here
I’m better with a clearer mind than last year
Please know that things are looking up from here
My head only used to see the clouds
And now the sky has turned right around

I’m sorry that I was such a train wreck
A basket case that you put up with

I’m sorry that I was such a train wreck
A basket case that you put up with
Without you I know now that I need help
That night was something you didn’t have to deal with
